The establishment and awarding of the diploma are governed by Circular n°2006-202 of 8 December 2006 on the procedures for the preparation and issuing of diplomas within the framework of the "LMD" system.
Issuance of the diploma is done upon request. To do so, you must use the Diploma Application Form.
This form may be sent with supporting documents by email or post, or submitted to the Central Education Office. The diploma is delivered on site at the Central Education Office and is in no case sent by post. You have the option of giving power of attorney to a third party who has a copy of your national identity card.
The printing time is 10 to 15 business days for recent diplomas, and 15 business days to 1 month for old diplomas.
The issuing of diplomas is suspended during the enrollment period (from 26 June to 30 September inclusive).

The notation “duplicate” appears on the diploma and an accounting of duplicates is kept by the service.

Certain diplomas come with a descriptive appendix called a "diploma supplement". This document allows for better understanding of programs and diplomas for the attention of employers in particular and facilitates student mobility from one institution to another, both nationally and internationally.
