International Affairs and Development - Master's Year 1

Who can apply?

  • Those who have completed a Bachelor’s (180 ETCS) in Management, Economics, Social Science, or an equivalent degree.
  • Criteria for the Conflict Transformation and Peace Studies major: There are three essential criteria that are taken under consideration: the undergraduate transcript; any internships or consistent volunteer work relevant to peace studies; and clear, consistent career goals.
  • Students in this major choose a common core with a heavy emphasis on economics. Applicants should have sufficient knowledge of economics and mathematics in order to take courses with an economic dimension.
  • Admission is based on the application; the selection criteria depend on the applicant’s chosen major. Applicants may only apply to one major.
  • The total capacity for the first year of the Master's in International Affairs and Development is 125 students.

How to apply?

There are three stages to the admissions process:

  1. An online application
  2. The admissions response: Applicants will be notified about the results of the selection process on the MyCandidature platform.
  3. The committee meets a single time to rank candidates based on their applications and filter them into the main list, the waiting list, or the rejection list.
