International Supply Chain Management - 217 - Master's Year 2

Program Objectives

The International Supply Chain program trains students to take a strategic and international approach to supply chain management. Supply chain management is an approach that defines the issues and rules pertaining to the management and flow of physical goods, the organization of information systems, and the availability of services. It centers client satisfaction, whether that client is a consumer or an entity requesting a service.

Program objectives:

  • Conceptualize the supply chain: Supply Chain Management
  • Know how to use the information systems that govern the flow of goods (APS, ERP, optimization tools, etc.)
  • Implement a Sales and Operation Planning process
  • Be familiar with the tools and models that aid in decision making and demand forecasting;
  • Use case studies to measure economic indicators;
  • Observe the evolution of needs pertaining to new information technologies such as: Digital supply chain and big data
