Program Objectives
The Masters in Law is a two-year graduate course in law for those who are interested in issues relating to management and economics and who want to gain interdisciplinary skills.
This programme has a strong international dimension, thanks to the many relationships which Dauphine has developed with leading Law Schools around the globe. It provides access to the exams for entry to the French legal professions upon completion of the first year of the course.
Program Objectives:
- Benefit from an interdisciplinary law programme with a strong dimension of management and economics, taught by Dauphine Law school academics as well as leading practitioners.
- Allows students to understand the regulatory aspect of the economic process from the perspective of French private & public law as well as European and international law.
- Offers various perspectives from within the French legal professions, and a parallel course allows for training for the US Bar / solicitor in the UK.
- Benefit from international opportunities, including exchanges, numerous visiting professors from leading US, UK and European law schools, foreign trips, seminars and lunch series organised by the faculty.
When you enroll in a Master's program, you also join Université PSL. Ranked in the top 50 universities in the world (THE and QS), PSL offers excellent graduate programs at the Master's and PhD level, which benefit from the scientific capabilities of its member institutions. The degree is completed at the Université Paris Dauphine-PSL and awarded by Université PSL.

Graduate Program in Law: give a research dimension to your master
The Graduate Program in Law offers a comprehensive curriculum of advanced study and research, from the Master's to the Doctorate degree, in corporate and tax law, estate law, public administration and international law.
Through its association with the Dauphine Law Research Center (Cr2D) and researchers in law from the ENA and ENS, the graduate program offers a Master’s degree in which research plays a central role.
Students may also choose elective courses designed to improve their transdisciplinary skills and broaden their curriculum.
Any student enrolled in M1 or M2 in Law can apply, in parallel, for the research trajectory of the Graduate Program in Law, a personalized course of excellence open to students wishing to train in legal research and law methodology.
2 specializations for international students
Tax Administration
The Tax Administration program trains tax administration executives in developing countries and emerging economies. This program, organized in close collaboration with the French taxation authorities, prepares students for careers in tax administration, fiscal policy, design and implementation of tax reform, and public finance.
English Track in Law
The English Track in Law is a programme offered at Université Paris Dauphine-PSL which allows law students to follow law courses entirely in English. Courses are taught by permanent faculty members at Dauphine, as well as visiting & adjunct faculty for more specialised topics.
