Description du contenu de l'enseignement :
This course builds the English skills necessary to operate across both halves of the IASO dual degree: the vocabulary and reasoning of artificial intelligence, and the communicative skills of economics and business. The first half of the semester focuses on understanding, explaining, and discussing AI concepts in English. The second half is dedicated to learning to describe data and trends, navigate organizational and economic vocabulary, and communicating professionally. Students work with authentic materials, structured debate, and role-play to build confidence regardless of their starting level and familiarity with expressing themselves in English in real time.
Compétence à acquérir :
By the end of this course, students will be able to understand and discuss AI concepts in English, using appropriate technical vocabulary. They will be able to describe data, trends, and organizational structures in a professional register, and communicate effectively in workplace scenarios such as meetings, negotiations, and presentations. Students will also develop the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to a non-specialist audience, both orally and in writing.
