During the seminar students will build a project investment for a city focused on renewable energies.

Groups would be assigned.

Each session, groups will have a new assignment ( 5 in total)

This economic seminar aims at studying various energy commodity markets

The course contains a special focus on energy markets (oil, natural gas, electricity, coal and renewable energies), with different approaches necessary to understand the world energy scene and its dynamics more precisely in the European Union and in France.

The objective is a better understanding of the fundamentals of energy economics:

(1) how energy (oil, natural gas, coal and electricity) is supplied, distributed and used,

(2) the economic, financial and environmental consequences of such patterns and

(3) the prices fluctuations

Mode de contrôle des connaissances :

•50 % Final Exam

•short open questions + some key data + 1 question on a study case
