The Women and Science chair publishes its scientific report
The Women and Science Chair has succeefully in developed a rich scientific activity over the last 5 years with a strong international outlook. It supports 30 research projects in more than 15 countries around the world which involve a network of 86 researchers and finances 2 theses in France. His research has resulted in publications in journals of the highest international level: Science, Proceedings of the national Academy of Sciences, Nature communications, Science advances, etc.
The Women and Science Chair is committed to developing, supporting and disseminating academic research providing informed answers to complex questions linked to the central problem of the underrepresentation of women in science: What are the determining factors? What explains the lower presence of women in scientific fields? What is the impact on science, society and on the status of women? What public policies should be adopted to reverse this trend?
