Research at Dauphine - PSL is founded on six disciplines (management, economics, sociology and political science, law, mathematics, and computer science), all of which center around the organizational and decision sciences.

Research Center in Applied Mathematics
CEREMADE is known around the world for its work in non-linear analysis, finance and economics, probabilities, and statistics. It is ranked 28th in the Shanghai Ranking for mathematics.

CR2D brings together legal professionals, public and private rights lawyers, economists, political scientists, and sociologists to conduct cross-disciplinary research programs in legal studies.

DRM is one of the biggest research centers in France specializing in management science.

IRISSO brings together sociologists, political scientists, and economists. Research projects are structured around five priorities, with special importance given to methodology, internationalism, and issues related to gender.

LAMSADE is one of very few research centers in France or Europe developing a specific vision of computer science based around decision-making science and technology.

The ecological transition and the digital revolution are deeply ingrained in the research programs

A pioneer in issues related to ecological and social transition on the one hand, and in the impact of AI on our society on the other, our university is developing two major programs: Sustainable Dauphine and Digital Dauphine. Through our research centers, we draw on our institution's unique positioning, relying on cross-over expertise from several disciplines, including mathematics, computer science and humanities and organizational sciences to follow and light the way as our society undergoes deep-seated change.

SDOSE Doctoral School

Each year, the university accepts almost 80 new doctoral students to the SDOSE (Sciences of Decision-Making, Organizations, Society, and Exchange) Doctoral School. The school offers seven PhD and Graduate programs and maintains close ties with the research centers and laboratories at Dauphine - PSL. Shared by Université Paris Dauphine-PSL and MINES ParisTech, the Doctoral School is supported by Université PSL and attached to the PSL Doctoral College.

Endowed Chairs and Research

Our numerous and fruitful relationships with public and private organizations extend into the field of research, with 12 chairs, 3 research initiatives, and 4 circles. These are ideal places for the academic world to connect with the business world.
