PhD Defense of Jules Lechene

Mr. Jules Lechene will publicly defend his doctoral thesis on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 9:30 AM at Université Paris Dauphine - PSL, Place du Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny, 75016 Paris, Thesis Room - D520.

This defense is held in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the PhD in Law.

Entitled Litigation Risks in Shareholders’ Agreements, the thesis was prepared within the Dauphine SDOSE Doctoral School, as part of the research unit EA - Dauphine Recherches Juridiques, under CNU Section 7 - Social Sciences, and supervised by Dorothée Gallois-Cochet.

The research focuses on litigation risk in shareholders’ agreements. It provides an analysis of this concept by identifying several categories of risk related to the qualification, legal regime, and interpretation of the mechanisms involved. It also examines contractual tools that may help prevent such risks, within the limits set by corporate law and mandatory legal rules.
