50 Years of Momentum!
A message from Isabelle Huault
Université Paris-Dauphine has come a long way since 1968. Paris-Dauphine was established in the context of an unprecedented reform in French higher education.
It has always been an experimental university, with a scientific and educational project that is centered on the organization and decision sciences, fostering creativity in research and learning alike. The school's distinctiveness was built on promoting multidisciplinary education, infused by the latest scientific knowledge in economics, law, computer science, math, management science, political science, and sociology. Its educational model, based on small-group instruction, combines academic excellence with a close proximity to the business world. With a view toward the city and societal challenges, Paris-Dauphine seeks to train engaged and responsible citizens.
Firmly focused on international issues, and boasting campuses abroad, Paris-Dauphine is the first French university to have received EQUIS accreditation. This accreditation recognizes a high level of research conducted and diplomas awarded, and it enables close partnerships with high-quality foreign schools.
Paris-Dauphine's involvement in Paris Sciences et Lettres (PSL) marked a decisive step in its journey, helping to build a world-class integrated university alongside prestigious partners in science, the arts, and humanities.
Paris-Dauphine is now pursuing a transformation, open to a rapidly changing world, in the hopes of establishing itself as a premier European institution in the fields of organization and decision sciences.
In celebration of the university's 50th anniversary, we invite you to discover the events we have scheduled, which include scientific conferences as well as cultural and sporting events. This reflects the abundance of Paris-Dauphine today and will be a chance to share these highlights all throughout the academic year 2018-2019.
