On Thursday 19 February 2026, the new Research Dauphine Law Lab of Université Paris Dauphine – PSL is organising a conference dedicated to the new Article 1254 of the Civil Code and the issues it raises. The presentations and round tables will successively address the origins of the provision, its interpretation, its impact on civil liability, as well as its implementation across different branches of law. The afternoon will conclude with a session devoted to private international law.
