On 21 October 2026, the CR2D is hosting a conference on the contemporary transformations of liberal democracy, bringing together constitutional law and economic analysis.
This conference brings together legal and economic approaches to examine the contemporary transformations of liberal democracy. Both talks will revisit the principles underlying this political model, as well as the tensions that reveal its current fragilities. Combining constitutional law and economic analysis will shed light, from complementary angles, on the conditions for stability, legitimacy and renewal of democratic institutions.
