Scholarships

Future students may apply to three types of scholarships for our program (all of these being excellence grants) :

PSL master’s degree scholarship

The PSL master’s degree scholarship is based on academic excellence criteria and it is open to national and international students having successfully achieved a 1st year of master program in mathematics. The scholarship corresponds to a fixed monthly allowance of 1200 euros for a 10-months duration. Laureates are assisted by PSL’s housing office in finding a room at the CROUS in Paris.

PGSM master grant

The scholarship offered by FSMP, the PGSM master grant, is equivalent to the PSL master’s degree scholarship. In addition, FSMP will take care also of the social security coverage and the university registration fees for the laureates.  Note that there are two separate calls for PGSM master grants : 

  • The first call is open to students who carry out their studies outside France ; 
  • The second call is open to students already enrolled in a first year of a master in mathematics or theoretical computer science in the FSMP network.

Schedule :

  • Febuary 6, 2025, for international students
  • May 5, 2025, for students studying in Master 1 at an FSMP network institution.

Laureates of any of the above scholarship will need to follow the administrative steps for their enrolment in the master according to the standard procedure and deadlines (see here). Their admission into the master will be automatically approved by the M2 committee without going through any further evaluation step. 

 

Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program was established by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs to enable French higher education institutions to attract top foreign students to enroll in their masters and PhD programs.

It gives opportunity to the future foreign decision-makers of the private and public sectors, in priority areas of study.

  • Before submitting an application, check your eligibility by reading the Campus France guide.
  • Université Paris Dauphine–PSL accepts and promotes your application and forwards it to Campus France.
  • Your application can be sent to Campus France by one institution of higher education only.

  • Our deadline for applications is November 15, 2024
  • Replies sent out in March
