2024-2025 Annual Report: Bridging Consolidation and Innovation

Challenges and ambitions during the first year of the new presidency.

« We want to build on Dauphine’s past successes and at the same time open up new prospects for the future. »

- Bruno Bouchard, President of Université Paris Dauphine–PSL

Bearing the stamp of Bruno Bouchard’s first year as President, the 2024-2025 Annual Report illustrates the priorities defined by the university’s new governance, with a desire to meld consolidation and innovation.

World-class research

One of the major focuses is on supporting academic research. In conjunction with PSL’s major research programs, Dauphine–PSL is aiming to help build one of the world’s premier universities.

To make that goal a reality, our research professors are actively involved in public debate and discussion, not only through their scholarly work but also through their contributions to Dauphine Éclairages, our science media platform, whose audience continues to expand.

Education focused on the future

Helping our students succeed is another essential priority. Our demanding educational offerings are highly responsive to the challenges posed by the environmental and digital transitions and foster entrepreneurialism as well, through the activities at our House of Entrepreneurship.

Guided by a desire for openness, Dauphine promotes an active policy of diversity, gender equality, and equal opportunity. Our program of support for students in exile is marking its five-year anniversary this year with an even broader range of services on their behalf.

A university on the rise

Internationally, many of our students are taking advantage of opportunities to study abroad, and the University’s international campuses continue to demonstrate their appeal. Dauphine’s London campus, now celebrating its tenth year, is seeing tremendous growth, while our Tunis campus is becoming an integral part of the local economy and new degree programs have been introduced in Dakar.

With regard to our facilities, 2025 brought an expansion of our Paris campus, a major milestone en route to a complete campus renovation. Other building projects are underway as well, such as the relocation of our entire executive education program to the Europlaza Tower in the heart of La Défense.

A concern for financial stability

However, these major initiatives are unfolding alongside a transformation in higher education and a decline in public funding. Dauphine is developing a unique operating model in which we generate nearly half our resources internally with crucial support from our Foundation, but it is becoming essential that we strengthen our collaborations outside academia to ensure strong, long-lasting partnerships.

A revamped format for our annual report

Lastly, in keeping with the University’s commitment to sustainability, this year’s report has been redesigned in a more streamlined format. The print version reflects our concern for the environment, with content focused on the essentials, two-color graphic design and less use of ink, all handled by an environmentally certified printing company using sustainably sourced paper. Moreover, a low-impact digital version (PDF) is available online.
