An international outlook
3 possibilities
1- A dual degree program offered in partnership with LUISS in Rome
This dual degree, offered since 2019, allows you to obtain both the Master Finance - Corporate Financial Management from Dauphine and the Master in Corporate Finance from the University of LUISS, which is taught entirely in English.
2- An exchange semester from January to June in a foreign university
The student will have the opportunity to choose between an internship abroad or spend their last semester abroad at one of Dauphine's many partner universities.
3- An exchange semester thanks to the QTEM network

The Master allows students to earn the QTEM (Quantitative Techniques in Economics and Management) certificate, which offers international experience and valuable job placement opportunities worldwide. The QTEM network draws on partnerships between the academic and professional spheres at an international level, by connecting 11 large companies and 21 colleges across the globe.
What does the QTEM network provide you with?
- Access to an exclusive international network and corporate partners
- An international dimension to your diploma
- Improvement of your analytical skills and achievement of a QTEM certificate attesting of these skills that account to get the PSL data minor
- Improvement of your ability to work in an international team located in different parts of the world
- An excellent training for working on analytical and quantitative tasks within an international context
Following the QTEM track during the M1 Finance or during a gap year after the M1 is considered an advantage for admission into the Master Corporate Financial Management - 270 program. For candidates that did not have that opportunity before joining the Master, it is possible to follow the QTEM track during semester 2.
The QTEM exchange in the Master's degree in 3 steps
The exchange semester
The QTEM exchange may take place in the second semester of the 2nd year of the Master's degree. You must complete at least 30 ECTS including 22 ECTS for quantitative classes. To see what teaching units are available, please visit QTEM.fr
Students have the opportunity to take two modules organised by QTEM during their exchange semester, counting for 2 or 4 ECTS credits:
- Foundations of Machine Learning - 2 ECTS credits
- Sustainability: From Science, Ethics and Economics to Business Action - 4 ECTS credits
Internship
You must complete an internship in a company or institution to gain professional experience. This internship must take place after the exchange semester, in France or abroad, and may also count towards the Master's degree.
GBAC - Global Business Analytics Challenge
In addition to classes at Dauphine and during the exchange semester, QTEM students take part in the GBAC. It consists of 2 online programs as well as the QTEM Data Challenge (QDC). The QDC is an international competition in which QTEM students, in groups of three with an experienced coach, analyze exclusive data to solve the real-world problems of a partner company. Each team is trained to combine various skills in analysis, creativity, leadership and communication. It can give you up to 8 ECTS which can count towards the Data minor at PSL University.

All students in a QTEM program must take part in the GBAC - Global Business Analytics Challenge.
There are two editions of the GBAC each year:
First semester (Fall): from beginning of September to mid-December (1.5 months of online training + 2 months of QDC)
Second semester (Spring): from mid-January to mid-May (2 months of online training + 2 months of QDC)
Online courses:
QTEM students from the different partner universities are placed in groups of three. Each team will have to analyze exclusive (and real) data supplied by a partner company to propose a creative solution and recommendations for the company. The three best teams will be invited to the final held during the annual QTEM event, and the winning team will receive a prize.
Network events (QTEM Alumni)

- Students receive a QTEM certificate at an awards ceremony, held during the annual QTEM meeting: The last one was held in Nice in October 2025
- A site dedicated to Alumni
- QTEM has groups in different cities
- Services available for alumni: access to postings for internships and recruitment
- QTEM offers events for its alumni and current students of the program. For example, the QTEM Student International Meeting, the last of which was held at Amsterdam in March 2026
