The Observatory of Consulting Practices
Management consultancies are central testing grounds for new working and organisational practices. These are then at the heart of the consultancy services and the terms of engagement offered to clients. The Observatoire des Pratiques de Consulting (OPC) is co-directed by François-Xavier de Vaujany and Pierre Laniray. It enables the Master 128 - Master Business Consulting and Digital Organization - MBC and Université Paris-Dauphine to monitor the very latest trends in management consulting practices.
More generally, the observatory provides a critical and reflective study of consulting practices and their links with societal, political and environmental dynamics. The OPC is fed by fieldwork carried out by 128 students as part of three courses, by thematic research dissertations and by a network of management consultancy alumni and partners.
