Talents: Bachelor’s Year 2

The Dauphine-Talents program is designed for students who are also highly gifted artists, athletes, or entrepreneurs and is available in the second undergraduate year of the programs in Organizational Sciences and in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Economics. The program is an extended version of the classic curriculum, allowing students who want to pursue their second year of undergraduate study and gain a general grounding in economics, management, social sciences, and quantitative disciplines or in mathematics, computer science, and economics, while also engaging in their extracurricular activity. They can take six semesters to complete the second year of study rather than two.

Program objectives :

• Acquire a general, shared understanding of law, economics, management, and social science,
• Assimilate the quantitative software and tools necessary for further study, particularly in math, statistics, and computer science,
• Deepen knowledge of the political and economic, or mathematical, computer science, and economics climate,
• Develop life skills, independent working methods and the ability to take charge of one's future with the Softskills program,
• Gain awareness of contemporary issues, particularly those pertaining to digital transformation,
• Continuing to acquire an autonomous method of academic work,
• Introduce students to professional employment via a job or internship,
• Successfully reconcile higher education with the exercise of talent (top sportsmen and women, artists, entrepreneurs).
