Preparation for the bar exams in the states of New York and California (USA)

In order to be eligible to take the New York and California bar exams, the exam taker must :

• New York bar – hold an LLB from a common law country, or hold an LLM from an American university 
• California bar – It is sufficient to be a French lawyer to be eligible to take the bar exam for the State of California (without having a common law background). 

The BARBRI Group offers training to law students and lawyers throughout their careers. BARBRI Bar Review is a cornerstone of the group's offering and represents 70% of the US market. As of October 2017, 76% of non-US students who were prepared for the New York bar by BARBRI and had completed 80% of their BARBRI PSP (BARBRI-specific personalized training plan) passed the exam. By comparison, the average success rate of non-US students taking the New York bar exam is 40%.
