Who can apply?

  • Students who have completed a Bachelor's degree (180 ETCS) in Management, Economics, Social Science, or equivalent.
  • Criteria for the Sustainable Development major: successful candidates may already be engaged in sustainable development issues through volunteer work or their involvement in sustainable programs.
  • Criteria for the Economics major: no professional experience requirements; academic excellence is the most important factor. Successful applicants will have earned a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in economics, or taken several economics courses while studying for their Bachelor's degree in social or management.
  • Criteria for the Peace Studies major: there are three essential criteria that are taken under consideration: the undergraduate transcript; any internships or consistent volunteer work relevant to Peace Studies; clear and coherent career goals.

Admission is on the basis of the application; the selection criteria depend on the applicant's chosen major.
Candidates can only apply to one major

  • For the Economics major: advanced economics courses require students to have a basic understanding of economics (models, concepts, methods). A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Economics is a plus. Students with a Bachelor's degree in Social Science or Management who have taken core economics courses are usually eligible for the program.
  • For the Sustainable development major: students are required to have taken prior courses in economics, management, and social sciences.
  • For the Peace Studies major: students follow a common core with a heavy emphasis on economics. Applicants should know enough Economics and Math to allow them to take these courses.
