Organizational Sciences - French and German double degree - Year 1

Program Objectives

The first year of the double French and German degree consists of general introduction to economics, management, law, social sciences, and other quantitative disciplines. The majority of instruction takes place in English, as well as in German and French.

  • Successfully integrate students into university life by supporting their transition from secondary to higher education;
  • Help students learn to work independently at the college level,
  • Help students with different educational backgrounds perform at a desirable level, particularly in languages (German and English);
  • Enable them to acquire the foundations of management, economics, social sciences, and law,
  • Give students an early experience of the professional world with an internship or job; Students must do their professional experience in Germany or in a German-speaking environment,
  • Strengthen students’ language skills in German and prepare them for immersion in a German-language environment in semesters 4, 5, and 6 (classes taken in Frankfurt). Particular emphasis is placed on the intercultural component.
