The AMIAP has three core missions:

  • Facilitating student integration;
  • Enriching student life through organizing events such as parties, restaurants, trips, and sporting events;
  • Assisting new students (finding work-study programs, settling in, answering various questions)

In addition to these three core missions, the BDE also organizeq landmark events in the Insurance Law program:

  • The sporting challenge: every year, tradition dictates that students and professors from the various Instituts des assurances de France come together to compete in a sporting event.  The event, the hosting responsibilities for which alternate between institutes, gives students the opportunity to meet and network with each other as well as with academics and professionals in a convivial environment.
  • The ALEA competition: a moot court competition for students enrolled in the second year of a Master’s program in law (particularly insurance law) who want to tackle real-world cases in insurance and reinsurance litigation and test their oratory skills.

The annual event

Our 2nd year students attend, like every year, the Risk Management meetings, organized by AMRAE - Management of Business Risks and Insurance.

AMRAE organizes the annual congress of risk professions. These three days are the unmissable business meeting for players in risk management and its financing. The Meetings combine plenary sessions with speakers of very great talent (business leaders and Risk Managers from the CAC40, SBF120, academics, major professionals) and around thirty conference workshops, a real breeding ground for reflection, exchanges , and dissemination of good Risk Management practices. This entire scientific program is developed, considered and implemented by the Scientific Committee of AMRAE, a research center for the concerns of Risk Managers.

On the program: conferences and meetings with professionals with whom they may have to collaborate at the end of their work-study contract.

The Study Trip
