Teaching Modalities

The first year of the Master’s program in International Affairs and Development is divided into two semesters. It runs from September to April or May.

From the moment they apply for entry into the Master’s program, students choose one of the three majors offered in the first year, based on the track they plan to follow in the second year. In exceptional cases, a change of major may be considered at the end of the first semester.

The first year of the Master’s program is divided between required and elective courses. The course offerings combine theoretical and applied classes, with each major having its own specific focus.

Languages play an important role in the program: English is a required subject, while Spanish is offered as an elective.

Internships and Supervised Projects

Students may do an internship or take a gap year between the first and second years of the Master’s degree.
