Three Major Events Mark the Master’s Program in Engineering in Finance and Statistics
Math Career Forum 2020
This year, like every year, the Math Career Forum connected students and companies in the mathematics sector. Companies presented their work and their open positions in two live sessions.
The ninth annual Math Career Forum took place on Thursday, October 21, 2020 under unusual circumstances. Despite the public health situation, students still had the opportunity to participate in a virtual forum that was as rich as its in-person predecessors,
and included companies such as Huawei, Phimeca, and HLI. “Math Careers” stands were available throughout the day, where professionals shared their academic journeys and talked about their careers. Participants submitted their CVs, which were then made available to all the companies present. The organizers worked tirelessly to conserve the dynamism and goals of the in-person event.
Two students from the 2020-2021 class of the classic Master’s Program in Engineering in Finance and Statistics, Loubna ECHANDOURI and Thomas DOQUET, staffed a stand dedicated to the program, which was visited by over 200 people who consulted the program brochure and watched the video presentation of the Paris Dauphine campus. Throughout the day, visitors also had the opportunity to directly interact with representatives from the program via Google Meet.
One Month, One Career: SALES
One Month, One Career brings professionals from the finance sector to Dauphine to talk about their career trajectory and network with students in an informal setting. This month, we invite you to find out more about a career in SALES.
Student Networking
The Data Science Student Networking event is hosted by the Data Science community at Société Générale.
Since the 2018 meeting was such a success, we are doing it again this year! Students in data science are invited to a networking cocktail party at 6pm on Thursday November 14 at Tours Société Générale in La Défense.
The event will bring together 25 experts and 125 students in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The goal? To think outside of the box. Come mingle, meet new people, and talk about an area of common interest: data science in finance.
