Teaching Modalities
Most of the teaching takes the form of lectures/DDs in groups of around 30 students. The academic year is divided into 2 semesters, each of which lasts 12 weeks. Students take 22 Teaching Units (TUs) spread over the two semesters. Students' level and achievements are assessed mainly by :
- a continuous assessment grade (50% of the grade), which includes one or two tests, student participation in group lessons/DDs and the submission of assignments, the nature of which is defined in advance according to the UE,
- a final examination mark (50% of the grade).
Course starts: mid-September End of course: mid-May Final exams: end of June
Internships and Supervised Projects
Students must complete a work placement of at least 5 weeks or hold a salaried job of at least 175 hours during the first two years of the degree. Jobs in the home (baby sitting, tutoring, etc.) are expressly excluded. Apart from this exception, all jobs are accepted, the aim of this experience being to give students an insight into the world of work and make them more aware of the professional world and their future.
