Artificial Intelligence, Systems, Data (IASD) - Computer science track - Master's Year 2

Program Objectives

The second year of the Master's in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Systems, Data - Computer Science is a program offered by PSL University, supported by its components Paris Dauphine-PSL University, École normale supérieure, and École des Mines de Paris. The IASD Master's program offers a comprehensive M2-level curriculum designed to train students with solid theoretical knowledge and practical experience in state-of-the-art artificial intelligence and data science.

Backed by the research laboratories of PSL University and the Interdisciplinary Institute for Artificial Intelligence PR[AI]RIE, the IASD Master's program is a program of excellence that opens the door to careers in research and development in public or private research laboratories or innovative companies.

The master's program offers two distinct tracks, IASD - Computer Science and IASD - Mathematics (formerly MASH), which share most of the courses but differ in terms of the core courses specific to each track. Both tracks lead to master's degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics and Applications, respectively.

The Master's program selectively recruits students who have completed a first year of a Master's degree in Computer Science or Mathematics, as well as students in their final year of engineering school (or who have obtained an engineering degree) and those from comparable international programs.

Training objectives :

  • A deep understanding of the conceptual, semantic, and algorithmic questions posed by artificial intelligence and data science ;
  • Gain both a general and an in-depth understanding of the various facets of AI ;
  • Train students to have a sound theoretical background and extensive practical experience in artificial intelligence and data science.

Courses locations : Courses are held at 16 bis rue de l'Estrapade, 75005 Paris.
