Financial Markets - 203 - 2nd year of master's degree

Who can apply?

Admissions to the 1-year program are open to students :

  • Who have completed a Master 1 in Finance at Dauphine, provided they passed all courses in the first exam session and obtained a minimum grade of 08/20 in each course. In addition, they must have validated the following courses (except in exceptional cases): UE Fixed Income Markets, UE Investments and Financial Markets, UE Derivatives : Instruments and markets, UE Banking and financial intermediation, UE Corporate Finance, UE Financial modeling and applications (VBA), UE Introduction to econometrics, UE Financial Econometrics, UE Introduction to quantitative finance (all in English), UE Python (English or French). Note: For applications to the 2026/27 academic year only, the requirement for UE Financial Econometrics is exceptionally waived.
  • Who are Dauphine students majoring in Economics, Management, or Mathematics.
  • Who are non-Dauphine students holding or completing a Master’s degree (MSc).
  • All candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of professional experience (internship) in financial markets or quantitative asset management.
  • The admission process is the same for all candidates.

How to apply?

The application steps are:

  1. Online application on MyCandidature
  2. Admissibility and preselection for oral tests/interviews based on application file
  3. Oral tests with pre-selected candidates followed by final admission
     

The application file must include:

  • A handwritten cover letter in English,
  • A resume in English,
  • The candidate’s complet transcripts – for high school diploma and for each University year,
  • TOEFL iBT results dating back no more than two years(not requested for English native speakers). TOEIC not accepted.
  • One (or more) lettres of recommandation.
  • Highly recommended : GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) or GRE (Graduate Record Examination) dating back no more than two years.


A summer recruitment session is organized (opening mid-July and ending end-August). Note that this session is only available to

  • Non-Dauphine students,
  • first-time applicants,
  • M2 level candidates.
