Association
The Dauphine Asset Management association aims to bring together all Program 222 students, present and past, and to create a real sense of cohort belonging.
The association has three main missions:
Developing a Sense of Cohort Belonging
The objective is to forge intra-cohort connections in order to ensure that students and young professionals from a range of backgrounds feel like they belong. The sense of cohort belonging also comes from connections with program alumni. We maintain an alumni network from year to year by means of an address book, the web site, and the alumni directory. The association also organizes a welcome weekend and various activities to help attain this goal.
It has also taken a number of recent steps to forge connections between cohorts:
- In October 2018, a welcome weekend in a country house with a pool, tennis court, large living room, and football pitch
- Regular happy hours and company tours
- Christmas Party for current students
- Gatherings: Alumni-Faculty-Students
- Company Meet-ups
- Inter-cohort LinkedIn
Promoting the Program
In order to get the word out about the quality of the program and facilitate the professional integration of its students, the program has undertaken a number of activities since its inception. Chief among these are:
- Participating in the Dauphine Master’s Forum on February 8, 2019 from 10am to 5pm on the Université Paris Dauphine - PSL campus;
- Creating and sending a brochure about the program to the major portfolio management companies and other credit and investment firms;
- Reorganizing and updating the website, which serves as a landing page for events and partnerships;
Etablishing lasting relationshiips with recruiters
We send recruiters the updated alumni directory in an effort to establish lasting relationships with firms and with internship mentors and facilitate the hiring of new graduates and interns.
