Program Objectives

The International Economics and Development track is an innovative program ""in and through research"", combining a :

  • Research Track : enabling you to pursue an academic career and develop your own research projects.
  • Professional Track : preparing you to enter the professional world of international economics and development as a Junior Economist, Research Officer, Project Manager, or Analyst in international organizations.

This program will enable you to:

  • Understand global economic challenges.
  • Develop expertise in international economics and development economics.
  • Prepare for a career as an economist in research, the public sector, or the private sector.

Program objectives:

  • Master techniques for research in international economics and development
  • Conduct economic studies and public policy evaluations, particularly in the context of developing and emerging countries
  • Acquire data analysis tools
  • Learn methods for public policy evaluation
  • Manage projects
