International Affairs, Raw Materials and Strategies - 212 - Master's Year 2

The program consists of 586 hours of instruction, spread out between October 1 and June 1.

In parallel with the teaching, students will be required to complete a minimum two-month internship and to write a thesis, a work of reflection and writing corrected by the professor of the discipline concerned by the chosen theme. The thesis will be submitted in September.

An internship in a professional setting is a compulsory component of the programme and must last between four and six months. It may begin in May, once coursework has been completed. The internship concludes with the submission of an internship report and an oral defence before members of the programme's academic team. The internship assignments must be aligned with the objectives and curriculum of the Master's Programme 212.

The internship may be completed in a wide range of organisations, including public or private companies, public sector institutions, non-profit organisations, and NGOs. To support students in securing internships, the Programme Director organises visits to companies and banks offering internship opportunities related to the commodities sector.

In addition, the Sponsorship Committee of the Master's student association is responsible for raising funds from companies to finance the association's activities, particularly its annual conference and study trip. Long-standing partners of Master's Programme 212 include LVMH, Trafigura, and BNP Paribas. In return for their support, students may be asked to carry out a study or consulting project for the sponsoring companies.
