Program Objectives

The program in Advocacy Law and Public Affairs trains specialists with complementary skillsets in public policy, the representation of public interest, and public communication. The program introduces students to professionals and academics who specialize in public action and its affiliated policies. This is a professionally-oriented program that is informed by research.

Program objectives:

  • Develop the ability to understand the issues at stake in a given sector and to participate in the creation of public policy;
  • Coordinate state action across decentralized departments;
  • Become expert in representing public interest, develop a lobbying strategy;
  • Become expert in project evaluation techniques.
