Program Objectives
This multidisciplinary training in research and through research aims to train new generations capable of thinking about and transforming the world of tomorrow, through the analysis of policies, institutions, organizations, and the challenges of the contemporary economy. It opens pathways to professionalization in research (PhD), higher education, and socio-economic expertise (consulting, public action, NGOs).
Program Objectives:

- To receive instruction, in both French and English across three institutions, that combines the contributions of economic and social sciences.
Program Key Elements:
- Core courses designed and taught by high-quality teaching teams, with faculty members who are experts in multiple disciplines (sociology, economics, law, management, history, etc.).
- Courses focused on the discussion of concepts, debates, and issues examined through multiple disciplinary approaches, with an emphasis on the critical reading of research papers and a participatory approach (flipped classroom).
- Advanced learning of quantitative and qualitative research methods, a wide range of practical work in statistics, use of digital technologies, and two years of training in data science (R and Python programming).
- Immersion in ongoing research, with a focus on original empirical research (Master's 1 and 2 theses), access to seminars from research labs at EHESS and the University PSL.
- Integration into international research networks, bilingual instruction (French, English), courses in English for social science research, and support for international research stays (internships, surveys, visits).
- Personalized support, dialogue with teaching teams, supervision of theses by faculty researchers, assistance with internships, and support in preparing for a doctoral project or a post-master's professional project.
