Bachelor's Year 3: CPGE (preparatory courses for Grandes Ecoles)

Program Objectives

This goal of this program is to ease the transition of students coming from the preparatory programs for Grandes Ecoles in sciences or economics such as ECE and ECS, BL, ENS Cachan, Math, etc. to the Bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics.
It consists of refresher courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and statistics alongside the core courses taken in the first semester. In the second semester, students join one of two tracks: Economics and Financial Engineering or International Economics and Development.

Program objectives:

  • Master the tools and processes required by the subjects taught;
  • Master forecasting and optimization techniques, quantitative methods, statistical and software tools;
  • Work independently as well as in a team, manage a project.
