Organizational Sciences Paris - Bachelor's degree Year 1 - Law curriculum
Syllabus
The legal curriculum is mainly intended for students who plan to complete their third year of a Bachelor's degree in law.
As in the general curriculum, the first year of the legal curriculum is multidisciplinary and allows students to become familiar with the fields of economics, management, social sciences, and law. However, the number of law courses is higher, offering in-depth studies in public law, European law, private law, and criminal law. Teaching in mathematics and computer science, a strong focus on ecological, ethical, and political issues in the contemporary world, as well as English courses, complement the multidisciplinary knowledge acquired.

Teaching Modalities
Most of the teaching takes the form of tutorials in groups of around 30 students. The academic year is divided into 2 semesters, with each semester lasting 12 weeks, plus a two-week pre-entry period. Students take 25 core courses over the two semesters. There are no options. Students' level and achievements are assessed mainly by :
- a continuous assessment grade, the nature of which is defined in advance (50% of the final grade, depending on the UE): one or two tests, student participation in tutorials, submission of assignments,
- a final examination grade (50% of the final grade).
Course starts: early September End of course: end of May Final exams: end of June
Internships and Supervised Projects
Students must complete a work placement of at least 5 weeks or hold a salaried job of at least 175 hours during the first two years of the degree. Experience in childcare or home tuition is excluded. Apart from this exception, all jobs are accepted, the aim of this experience being to give students an insight into the world of work and make them more aware of the professional world. In practice, the work placement will take place in the summer between L1 and L2.
