The Highlights
The seminar on media innovation (New Business Model for New Media)
For one week, the master’s students work in teams with students from the Journalism Master’s program (IPJ at Dauphine) to respond to a brief from a media organization on one or several editorial and marketing innovations.
In recent years, students have worked for 20 Minutes, Prisma Presse, L’Express, Le Monde, M6/RTL, and L’Équipe.

The Master’s Projects
This course enables students to carry out several projects related to the master’s program: the graduation ceremony, managing the program’s social media, and maintaining the alumni database. It also offers the opportunity to take part in various professional events such as the Premiers Plans Festival, Média en Scènes, and Série Mania.

The Study Trip to London
The study trip marks the end of the academic year. It offers students the opportunity to meet professionals from major international media groups such as Disney+, Netflix, Universal Music, the BBC, DNEG, and others.

Meeting Media Industry Professionals
The master’s program welcomes many industry professionals across several courses. The course Careers in Audiovisual Media is entirely dedicated to meetings with professionals who come to present their roles. Throughout their classes, students have had the opportunity to meet numerous executives from across the media ecosystem (Bouygues Telecom, Samsung TV, Banijay, Mediawan, TF1, Canal+, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, Diversification, etc.).

Participation in Professional Meetings
This participation stems from a project carried out within the Master’s Project course. It enables students to meet professionals during key industry events in the media sector. In recent years, students have taken part in events such as the DigiWorld Institute, the Premiers Plans Festival, Média en Scènes, and Série Mania.

The Dauphine Digital Days
Since the creation of the program, the master’s students have taken part in these annual events organized by the University, which focus on the challenges of transforming the media industry in the era of big data and artificial intelligence.

The Digital Media Knowledge Blog
For the past ten years, first- and second-year master’s students have been writing a blog on digital issues in the media sector. The blog now features more than 400 articles and has gathered over 100,000 views in the past four years.
