Law (Work-study) - Master's Year 1

Program Objectives

The first year of the Master's program in Law, Major Public law - Public governance and economic regulation track, trains caliber future lawyers wishing to work in or closely with the public sector. This major is an apprenticeship program but there is also an initial training program for students wishing to be introduced to research and required to conduct research.

The program includes theoretical and practical courses in public law, economics, and the social sciences. Courses in English demonstrate the importance of internationalization to the program curriculum.
The major in Public law - Public governance and economic regulation boasts rich community life and a strong alumni network.

A "Research track" is open in this major with the possibility of continuing in the 2nd year of the master.

Program objectives:

  • Benefit from an interdisciplinary law program integrating management and economics, taught in large part by professionals
  • Be exposed to various perspectives from the full range of legal professions via the large number of specialized tracks available in the second year
  • Be open to international opportunities
