Association
DAUPHINE Strategy and Organization (DSO) is a program association created in 2011 for students in the Strategy and Organization program -- the leading French program in strategy and organization.
Originally intended to foster the alumni network, the association's remit has gradually expanded to include the formation of a think tank and the provision of opportunities for conversation between professionals, experts, academics and students in the strategy sector.
This very active association organizes a wide range of activities:
- 101 Meetings, where the association invites working professionals to talk about a number of issues.
These are informal breakfast or lunch gatherings; - 101 Happy Hours, where students and alumni meet up several times a year for conversation and network building;
- The annual conference, an open event for both Dauphine students and others;
- The annual trip, a combination of cultural visits, visits to companies, and conversations with researchers at universities abroad;

The Strategy Award
The Strategy Award is a challenge co-sponsored by the Strategy and Organization program and McKinsey. Students in the Strategy and Organization program at Université Paris Dauphine-PSL work in teams in order to identify and analyze a strategic problem. The idea is to help students understand how much information is available online and to realize how much work can be done on the basis of publicly available information alone.
Students present their projects in front of a jury of academics and industry professionals. The professional world is represented by the directors of strategy at the companies who proposed the research topics and by the McKinsey research department.
