Master's Year 1 - Applied Mathematics

Program Objectives

This program is organized into majors (in Actuarial Science; Methods in Math and Economics; or Statistics), which more specifically lead to the various Master's 2nd-year programs intended for applied mathematics (statistics and data science, finance, and actuarial science), along with introductory courses in other disciplines, while at the same time remaining highly flexible in terms of focus.

This program is intended to provide students with the following:

  • Reinforce a theoretical foundation in applied mathematics (statistical analysis, stochastic modeling, functional analysis, digital computation, etc.)
