Public Policy: Master's Year 1

Program Objectives

The first year of the Master's in Public Policy prepares generalists. The common core of courses taught in the first semester is designed to guarantee that students have the basic fundamentals. In the second semester, students choose a pre-specialization in the targeted 2nd year program is offered according to 4 majors:
- Major in Public Service Careers and National Exams
- Major in Corporate Policy and Social Responsibility
- Major in Public Policy and Opinion
- Major in Urban Policy and Territorial Governance

Students choose to write a research thesis or complete an internship.

Program objectives:

  • Acquire a base of methodological and theoretical fundamentals in the social sciences.
  • Become an expert in qualitative and quantitative methods in the social sciences;
  • Acquire sufficient knowledge to specialize in the second year
  • Broaden professional perspectives in a wide range of disciplines
