Teaching Modalities
The program is a collaboration between three host institutions: École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), MINES ParisTech, and Université Paris Dauphine – PSL.
Students take five core courses and amaster class taught by visiting researchers. They select three EHESS research seminars and three methods courses. Students also study for a certificate in English.
An introduction to management research is offered in the first year of the Master's program but can be taken in the second year if the student is minoring in management.
The first semester focuses on a foundational understanding of the main concepts in social sciences and economics. Students have more freedom to choose their courses in the second semester. The period between April and June is dedicated to the writing of a research project in the form of a thesis.
Internships and Supervised Projects
Students may pursue an internship, ideally in a public research center or the research department of a private or public company.
An International Outlook
The Master's degree has an Erasmus partnership with Goethe University Frankfurt and an exchange agreement with the University of Geneva.
