Program Objectives
This multidisciplinary program, in and through research, aims to prepare a new generation of scientists and experts capable of revitalizing the analysis of the policies, institutions, organizations, and actors that make up the modern economy. It is the product of a collaboration between the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), Mines Paris-PSL, and Université Paris Dauphine-PSL.
Program objectives:
- Understand economic and social issues and become familiar with theoretical trends and debates
- Be able to conduct rigorous study and research based on the collection and analysis of information
- Learn the rules of scientific communication in English
- Gain familiarity with a wide range of statistical and digital research methods and tools .

The Graduate Program in Management is a predoctoral cursus that gathers PSL’s master level’s research in management training.
In parallel with a reference Master 2 of the Graduate Program, you have the possibility of obtaining a University Degree (D.U.) Research in Management (RIM). It allows to supplement the knowledge and skills in Management research.
The master Institutions, Economics and Society’s second year allows to validate the D.U. RIM as a dual degree based on additional courses and projects’ validations.

The challenges of the ecological and social transition in the Master's degree programs
Several courses and tools are offered to students in the Master’s program, regardless of their specialization
- “Ecological Transition and Social Responsibility” Certificate
- “Dauphine Durable” SPOC A common base of knowledge in the areas of ethics, social responsibility and sustainable development. It tackles the basics of CSR: control, human resources, finance, marketing, strategy, climate issues and the environmental transition.
- “Managing SDGs” SPOC A unique learning experience in which students from multiple countries work together on real-life case studies.
- Virtual University of the Environment and Sustainable Development At PSL, Dauphine is a founding member of Université Virtuelle Environnement et Développement durable (Virtual University of the Environment and Sustainable Development), which allows it to provide its students with a set of resources and MOOCs.
