GBAC - Global Business Analytics Challenge
In addition to classes at Dauphine and during the exchange semester, QTEM students take part in the GBAC. It consists of 2 online programs as well as the QTEM Data Challenge (QDC). The QDC is an international competition in which QTEM students, in groups of three with an experienced coach, analyze exclusive data to solve the real-world problems of a partner company. Each team is trained to combine various skills in analysis, creativity, leadership and communication. It can give you up to 8 ECTS which can count towards the Data minor at PSL University.
Focus on the GBAC
All students in a QTEM program must take part in the GBAC - Global Business Analytics Challenge.
There are two editions of the GBAC each year:
First semester (Fall): from beginning of September to mid-December (1.5 months of online training + 2 months of QDC)
Second semester (Spring): from mid-January to mid-May (2 months of online training + 2 months of QDC)
Online courses:
- Data sciences: “You will learn all about Data Science applied to business through videos, quizzes, coding cases and webinars. You will be able to take catch-up courses if needed or take advanced courses if you feel comfortable with the different topics.”
- Digital Leadership: “You will train your soft skills to be prepared for the Global Group Works. Through videos, podcasts, cases and webinars, you will learn about a variety of subjects such as digital awareness, global teams and project management.”
Le QTEM Data Challenge:
QTEM students from the different partner universities are placed in groups of three. Each team will have to analyze exclusive (and real) data supplied by a partner company to propose a creative solution and recommendations for the company. The three best teams will be invited to the final held during the annual QTEM event, and the winning team will receive a prize.
Network events (QTEM Alumni)
