Professional Property Law - 223 - Master's Year 2

Program Objectives

The Professional Property Law program provides students with the qualifications and expertise needed to provide corporations and their executives with legal and fiscal assistance in optimizing the creation, management and transmission of their private and professional estate. This program can also be part of a dual-degree program. Students who have completed the first year of the Master's (Asset Management track) can earn two degrees by the end of their second year: a Master's in Professional Property Law and a Master's in Notarial Law.

Program objectives:

  • Reduce the level of risk to which business owners are exposed: avoid failed companies leading to failed lives
  • Anticipate the transmission of private and professional assets, whether for payment or free of charge
  • Arrange for the distribution of property and power
  • Support a burgeoning business venture and ensure its growth to satisfy personal and partner interests
  • Know how to make decisions about financing that are appropriate to starting and building a business
