Control, Audit, Financial Reporting: Master's Year 1

Program Objectives

The first year of the Master's in Control, Audit, Financial Reporting trains executives specializing in accounting, management control, financial control, and auditing (internal and external) and provides excellent professional prospects. In this first year, students build on their technical accounting skills while developing new skills in big data and the digital economy. The curriculum is made up of core courses in management control and auditing and optional electives. The structure allows students to tailor their program.
 

Program objectives:

  • Train future executives specializing in accounting, management control, financial control, and auditing (internal and external) with high chances of professional success
  • Develop technical competencies in the areas required of the financial professions (accounting according to international standards, cost calculation, business models, budget planning and management, transfer pricing, strategic approaches to management control)
  • Develop new skills in big data and the digital economy
  • Develop a reflexive mindset, be able to critically assess data produced
  • Develop soft skills (team work, active listening, empathy, self awareness, interpersonal relations)
