Program Objectives of the Master's Degree in Management of Cultural Organizations
The aim of this program is to train students in the management and administration of cultural organizations and the implementation of cultural policy. The program, which fundamentally focused on management program, also integrates the economic, political, historical, legal and sociological dimensions essential to understanding and becoming expert cultural management issues.
The majority of teachers and speakers are cultural professionals, working in cultural organizations (Jeu de Paume museum, Bastille theater, Orchester national d'Ile de France, La Villette, Condor films, Orsay museum, etc. .) or in central administration (Ministry of Culture, National Book Center, National Music Center, etc.).
Program objectives:
- Become expert in the basics of labor law, contract law, and ERP law
- Understand taxation of cultural activities, intellectual property law, the basics of general accounting and budget management
- Manage a cultural institution (events, security operations, human resources, etc.)
- Define and develop a cultural or promotion policy, manage cultural projects

- “Dauphine Durable” SPOC A common base of knowledge in the areas of ethics, social responsibility and sustainable development. It tackles the basics of CSR: control, human resources, finance, marketing, strategy, climate issues and the environmental transition.
- “Managing SDGs” SPOC A unique learning experience in which students from multiple countries work together on real-life case studies.
