Master - Quantitative Economics

Program Objectives of the Master's Degree in Quantitative Economics

The Master in Quantitative Economics provides strong training in economics and advanced quantitative methods, delivered entirely in English. By the end of the program, you will have mastered the quantitative techniques used in economics, including machine learning, along with a deep understanding of economic decision-making.

During the first year of your Master's program, you will learn the fundamentals of both theoretical and applied economics, as well as become familiar with data treatment and analysis. You will then specialize in a specific field through one of the two Master 2 tracks: The Data Science for Economists track stands out by offering a unique combination of data science expertise and in-depth analysis of digital markets. You will develop advanced skills in programming, econometrics, and machine learning, while also gaining a comprehensive understanding of how digital markets function — covering areas such as online pricing, platform dynamics, and digital advertising. This dual focus ensures that graduates are equipped to handle both the technical challenges of data science and the strategic complexities of the digital economy. With a strong focus on economic research, the Quantitative Economic Analysis track allows you to analyze a broad range of contemporary economic issues in depth. The advanced training in econometrics and machine learning supports your ability to provide quantitative analysis that addresses economic questions.

The combination of deep knowledge in economics and a solid command of data science offered by the Master program leads to a wide range of job market opportunities, including positions as an economic researcher, applied economist, or data analyst in various public, academic, or private sectors.
