Education and Research in Mathematics
The School of Mathematics at Université Paris Dauphine-PSL brings together a Graduate Program, a Master's Program, a Doctoral Program and the CEREMADE research laboratory.
The Master's degree in Mathematics and Applications from Université Paris Dauphine-PSL offers a comprehensive program in mathematics, from theory to application. With specializations such as actuarial science, financial engineering and statistics, insurance mathematics or advanced mathematics, the program offers advanced theoretical training and is open to professional career paths or research. This Master's program is the fruit of a collaboration between Université Paris Dauphine-PSL, l’École Normale Supérieure - PSL, MINES ParisTech - PSL and l’Observatoire de Paris - PSL.
The Graduate Program in Mathematics and Applications offers an integrated cycle of study and research, from Masters to PhD, focusing on applied and fundamental mathematics. It is backed by several PSL research laboratories and chairs, as well as the PR[AI]RIE institute, fostering a cross-disciplinary approach and close links with research.
CEREMADE, the Center for Research in Decision Mathematics, is a joint research unit that contributes to these training programs. Its work covers a broad spectrum of mathematics (analysis, probability, statistics, dynamical systems), interacting with many other disciplines, such as economics, finance, actuarial science, astronomy, mathematical physics, mechanics, quantum chemistry, imaging, data science, machine learning, biology, epidemiology or linguistics.

The international dimension is at the heart of our courses, providing a unique professional and multicultural experience
Thanks to its strategic alliances and campuses around the world, Université Paris Dauphine-PSL offers you the opportunity to spend one or two semesters abroad, or to obtain a dual diploma with a foreign university during your Master's degree.
International Mobility during the Master’s Degree
For the Master’s degree,
develop skills within a research environment
The Graduate Program in Mathematics and Applications offers a complete cycle of graduate studies and research from master's to doctorate level in applied and fundamental mathematics. Backed by PSL's mathematics research laboratories, the PR[AI]RIE institute and the Collège de France's mathematics chairs, the Graduate Program includes a Master's degree that brings students closer to research. It offers engaging courses that strengthen cross-disciplinary skills and enrich the students’ academic path.
Doctoral Program in Mathematics
Acquiring the skills required for research careers
The Mathematics doctoral program gathers the scientific skills of the Research Center for Research in Decision Mathematics, Université Paris Dauphine-PSL’s CEREMADE and several research projects from INRIA.
The doctoral program in Mathematics provides doctoral students with a stimulating environment and appropriate resources to pursue their research.
